Hosted by CTV Morning Live TV personalities Keri Adams and Jason Pires, this year’s free family-friendly virtual event will feature music and dance performances, Indigenous cultural sharing, a “Family Show” for kids and seniors, arts & crafts, special guest appearances, the Surrey Honda live car raffle, and a virtual firework finale to end the night. The livestream will also feature musical performances by Surrey’s Tyler Joe Miller, Royal Academy of Bhangra, JoJo Mason, Ria Mae, comedy by Erica Sigurdson, and more. Plus, viewers can be entered to win over $2,000 of prizes during the live stream!
Virtual Surrey Canada Day will be broadcasted on Facebook and YouTube Live July 1, starting with the Family Show at 10:30am and regular programming at 6pm.
In preparation for the event, we are hosting a contest inviting residents from Surrey and across the Lower Mainland to submit a photo or video for a chance to be featured in the Virtual Surrey Canada Day programming and win a $200 gift card to Surrey Store to Door to support local Surrey businesses. Submit a photo or video of a Canada Day greeting to specialevents@surrey.ca or on Facebook or Instagram using #SurreyCanadaDay before June 23. This is your chance to have fun and be in the spotlight!
